Jacques Pepin
Jacques Pépin is a French chef, author, culinary educator, television personality, and artist born in Bourg-en-Bresse, France. After working in top French kitchens and serving as personal chef to Charles de Gaulle, he moved to the United States in 1959 and became widely known for his cookbooks, teaching, and television programs. A near-fatal car accident in 1974 shifted his career toward culinary education and media, where he has remained highly influential.
