Zimmer-Tamakoshi
Laura Zimmer-Tamakoshi is an anthropologist specializing in Pacific studies, particularly the Papua New Guinea Highlands, where she authored works like 'The Last Big Man: Development and Men's Discontents in the Papua New Guinea Highlands.' She edited 'First Fieldwork: Pacific Anthropology, 1960–1985' and contributed introductions to ethnographic volumes on figures like Jane C. Goodale. Now retired from Truman State University, she works as an anthropology consultant.
