Shyam S. Sablani

Dr. Shyam S. Sablani is a Professor of Food Engineering at Washington State University, specializing in the application of materials science and transport phenomena to innovative food packaging solutions for improved safety and quality.[1][2] He earned his B.E. from National Institute of Technology, Raipur, M.S. from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in Mechanical Engineering, and Ph.D. from McGill University in Food Engineering in 1996.[2][3] He serves as scientific editor of the Journal of Food Engineering and has been cited over 18,000 times for his work in food engineering, packaging, materials science, and safety.[2][6]
