Shelley Baranowski

Shelley Baranowski is a distinguished professor emerita of history at the University of Akron, known for her scholarship on Nazi Germany, German colonialism, imperialism, consumer culture, and mass tourism. Her books include Strength through Joy: Consumerism and Mass Tourism in the Third Reich and Nazi Empire: German Colonialism and Imperialism from Bismarck to Hitler.
