Peter Brooks

Peter Preston Brooks (born 1938) is an American literary scholar, critic, and writer known for his work on narrative theory, psychoanalysis and literature, melodrama, and law and literature. He is Sterling Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature at Yale University and has also taught at the University of Virginia and Princeton University.
