Nikunj C. Oza
Nikunj C. Oza is a data scientist and leader of the Data Sciences Group at NASA Ames Research Center, where he applies machine learning and data mining to aviation safety, operations, and aerospace vehicle health management.[1][3][4] He earned his B.S. in Mathematics with Computer Science from MIT in 1994, followed by an M.S. in 1998 and Ph.D. in 2001 in Computer Science from UC Berkeley.[1][2] His research, spanning over 40 papers and cited more than 5,300 times, focuses on machine learning, ensemble learning, anomaly detection, and AI applications in aeronautics and Earth science; he received the 2007 Arch T. Colwell Award for innovative work.[1][6]
