Michael Singh
Michael Singh is the Managing Director and Lane-Swig Senior Fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, a position he has held since 2010, and a former senior director for Middle East affairs at the White House National Security Council from 2005 to 2008.[1][2][5] During his White House tenure, he coordinated U.S. policy toward the Middle East, focusing on Iran's nuclear activities, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Syria, and regional security.[1] He previously served as special assistant to Secretaries of State Powell and Rice, and at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, and holds an A.B. in Economics and Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.[4][5]
