Martha Stout
Martha Stout, born August 12, 1953, is an American clinical psychologist and award-winning author known for her work on psychological trauma and conscience. She served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School's psychiatry department for 25 years and is the author of notable books including The Sociopath Next Door, The Paranoia Switch, and The Myth of Sanity[2][3][6]. She currently lives on Cape Ann in Massachusetts and maintains a private practice in Boston[4][5].
