Kristin Ross

Kristin Ross is an American essayist and professor emeritus of comparative literature at New York University, specializing in French literature and culture of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries[2][3]. Born in State College, Pennsylvania in 1953, she earned a PhD in French Literature from Yale in 1981 and is known for her widely translated books on modern French politics and culture, including Communal Luxury and May 68 and its Afterlives[1][3].
