John Langan

John Langan is an American horror, fantasy, and science fiction author born July 6, 1969, known for his contemporary horror fiction and Lovecraftian short stories. He won the Bram Stoker Award in 2016 for his novel The Fisherman and is one of the founders of the Shirley Jackson Awards. He holds advanced degrees from SUNY New Paltz and the Graduate Center of CUNY, and has taught as an adjunct instructor at local colleges.
