Jackie Collins
Jackie Collins (1937–2015) was an English romance novelist and actress renowned for her provocative romantic thrillers featuring sex, crime, and Hollywood glamour, selling over 500 million copies of her 32 New York Times bestsellers. Born in London as the younger sister of actress Joan Collins, she moved to Los Angeles in 1985, where she continued her prolific career until her death from breast cancer. Eight of her novels, including 'The Stud' and 'Chances,' were adapted into films or miniseries.
