Gary Ezzo

Gary Ezzo is an American author and Christian parenting expert who developed popular child-rearing curricula while on staff at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, for about 10 years, starting small classes in 1984 that grew rapidly.[3][5] With his wife Anne Marie, he founded Growing Families International (GFI) in 1987, initially as a non-profit before transitioning to for-profit in 1989, and co-authored the secular version On Becoming Babywise in 1993 with pediatrician Robert Bucknam.[1][3] His ministry faced controversies, including his 2000 excommunication from Living Hope Evangelical Fellowship for a pattern of sin and loss of support from associates over character concerns.[6]
