Fred Neff

Fred Neff is a prolific author of over 19 books on martial arts, self-defense, and related topics, including Everybody's Book Of Self-Defense and Lessons From The Samurai, with more than 50 years of experience teaching thousands of students. He achieved a fifth-degree black belt in 1974 and has also practiced law in Minnesota for over 30 years, hosting the TV program Great Puzzles in History which led to additional book publications. Neff holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from San Diego State University and has diverse professional backgrounds including psychology consulting.
