Erik Larson

Erik Larson is an American journalist and author known for his historical nonfiction books, including The Devil in the White City, Dead Wake, and The Splendid and the Vile, which have collectively sold over twelve million copies.[1][2][5] Born in Brooklyn, New York, he grew up on Long Island and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Russian history.[1][3] His works, blending meticulous research with narrative storytelling, have earned awards such as the Edgar Award for Best Fact Crime.[1][4]
