Dena Thompson

Dena Thompson (born 1960), known as 'The Black Widow,' is a British convicted murderer, confidence trickster, and bigamist who targeted men through lonely hearts columns to steal their money.[1] She was convicted in 2003 of murdering her second husband, Julian Webb, by poisoning his curry on his 31st birthday in 1994, and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 16 years.[1][2] Thompson was released on parole in June 2022 after serving 19 years.[2]
