Brian Keene
Brian Keene is a prolific American author of over fifty novels and hundreds of short stories, primarily in horror, crime, dark fantasy, and nonfiction genres, best known for his 2003 zombie novel The Rising, which inspired pop culture's interest in zombies. He has won two Bram Stoker Awards, the World Horror Grandmaster Award, and other honors, and has written licensed works for properties like Doctor Who, Hellboy, and Alien, with several adaptations into film. Keene hosted the popular podcast The Horror Show with Brian Keene until 2020 and runs the small press Maelstrom.
