Anderson Cooper
Anderson Cooper is an American broadcast journalist and author, best known as the anchor of CNN's Anderson Cooper 360° since 2003 and as a longtime correspondent for CBS's 60 Minutes until announcing his departure in 2026. Born into a prominent New York family as the son of heiress Gloria Vanderbilt and writer Wyatt Emory Cooper, he gained national prominence for his on-the-ground reporting, particularly during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. After graduating from Yale University in 1989, his career included stints at ABC News, hosting the reality show The Mole, and covering major events like the Iraq War, Haiti earthquake, and COVID-19 pandemic.
