What an enjoyable read! I read it so quickly I was sad it ended. I loved that this wasn’t just “first this happened and then this happened ..”, I love history but sometimes that type of narrative can be dry and cumbersome. This is not that! This is a collection of stories about people told with grace, honesty, and sometimes a little bit of humor. It is interesting and captivating the whole way through. It is a beautifully written book. It’s the first book I’ve read from both authors but will be reading more! Read more
