Use Me Here: A Theology and Practice of Lay Ministry

Maybe you're like me. You have a burning desire to serve the Lord in full time vocational ministry, yet God has yet to provide for that desire in the way you hoped. What do you do with this desire in the meantime? What do you do if what you hope for never comes to pass or if the circumstances of life take you in a different direction? These are the things I will discuss in this book. Through my own story as a kind of case study, combined with biblical principles, and a desire to provide you with ideas and resources to be faithful in the here and now, I hope to encourage you and myself along the way. The book will discuss many themes including work, waiting, preparation, faithfulness, time management, calling, identity, and creativity.
