By the River

Buckham is a pretty little village on the banks of the Thames, where Joanna has lived all her life. Her father, Jock, has a successful luxury car dealership, and the family home is McAllister Lodge, built by Jock as monument to his status. When her father dies, Joanna's world is turned upside down. First her best friend, Laura, marries the man that Joanna has always loved. Then her father's business goes bust and Joanna's comfortable existence comes an end.
