This book will consider the encouragement people can gain from studying Psalm Chapter 23 in depth. In many respects, Psalm 23 is similar to the book 'War and Peace,' written by Leo Tolstoy, in that Christians often face battles of varying kinds before reaching a place of peace. In the first part of this book, therefore, we will consider how we need to follow the leading of the shepherd, through times of refreshing, before entering a valley experience. In this valley, the Lord will teach us how to overcome fear, as well as experiencing his discipline, before facing our enemies - enemies we can overcome in the name of Jesus. In the second part of Psalm 23, we will consider the need for God's anointing on our lives, as well as the goodness and favor that will follow us on our journey with Jesus - along with dwelling in the house of the Lord forever. It is my prayer that this book will bring a fresh revelation from Psalm 23 to you - that it will encourage you during times of difficulty.
