Zoila S. Mendoza

Zoila Silvia del Rosario Mendoza Beoutis is a Peruvian-born anthropologist and documentary filmmaker based in the United States, specializing in dance and folklore in Cusco, Peru. She is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Native American Studies at the University of California, Davis, and has authored notable books including 'Shaping Society through Dance' and 'Creating Our Own'.
