Zev Chafets

Zev Chafets was a noted American-Israeli author, columnist, and journalist born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan, who moved to Israel in 1967 and served in the IDF, government, and as Director of the Government Press Office under Prime Minister Menachem Begin.[1][2] He was the founding managing editor of the Jerusalem Report, contributed to the New York Times Magazine, and authored numerous books including non-fiction works on media, Israel, and American culture, as well as novels.[1][2] Chafets wrote biographies of figures like Rush Limbaugh and Roger Ailes, and explored topics such as Jewish-Evangelical relations.[2]
