Zed A. Shaw is a software developer best known for creating the Learn Code the Hard Way series of programming tutorials, which have been read by millions of people worldwide.[1][3] He has been an accomplished programmer for close to 30 years and is also known for creating the Mongrel web server for Ruby web applications.[1][2] In addition to programming, Shaw is an avid guitar player and artist who has recently focused on game development.[3][6]
