Kristina LaFerne Roberts, known by her pen name Zane, is a best-selling author renowned for her provocative erotic fiction centered on African-American characters.[1] Beginning her literary journey in 1997 while living in North Carolina, she self-published her debut "The Sex Chronicles: Shattering the Myth" in 2000, which gained significant attention and led to a publishing deal with Simon & Schuster.[4] She has authored nearly 40 books, founded Strebor Books International (an imprint of Simon & Schuster), and created the television series "Zane's Sex Chronicles" for Cinemax.[1][5]
