Yuk-wai Yung Li

Yung Li Yuk-wai is a historian who authored 'The Huaqiao Warriors: Chinese Resistance Movement in the Philippines, 1942-1945,' published in 1996 by Ateneo de Manila University Press, based on her 1991 doctoral dissertation from the University of Hong Kong.[1][2][3][8] She teaches in the Department of History at the University of Hong Kong and utilized unique sources including U.S. National Archives documents.[3][4] Her work addresses the limited English-language literature on the Chinese resistance during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines.[4][5]
