Yona Zeldis McDonough
Yona Zeldis McDonough is an Israeli-born American author of fiction, nonfiction, essays, and children’s books. Born in Chadera, Israel, she studied at Vassar College and Columbia University and has published widely for both adult and young readers, including novels, biographies, and chapter books. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, and has also served as fiction editor for Lilith magazine for over twenty years.
