Xu Yong

Xu Yong (born 1954 in Shanghai) is a fine art photographer who was one of the first to focus on everyday life in modern China, free from political romanticization. Self-taught and initially trained in polytechnics in Luoyang, he worked in advertising before establishing himself as a photographer. He currently lives in Beijing.
