Wolfgang G. Stock

Wolfgang G. Stock, born on November 5, 1953, in Osnabrück, is a German information scientist and professor who heads the Department of Information Science at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf.[1][3] He earned his PhD in Düsseldorf and habilitation in Graz, Austria, and previously worked at institutions including the ifo Institute in Munich, ERECO in Brussels, and Cologne University of Applied Sciences.[1] His research focuses on information retrieval, knowledge representation, informetrics, and information markets.[1]
