Wilson Rawls

Wilson Rawls was an American author best known for the children's novels *Where the Red Fern Grows* and *Summer of the Monkeys*. Raised in rural Oklahoma with little formal schooling, he drew on his childhood experiences and later became a beloved writer and speaker for young readers.
