William Zinsser

William Zinsser was an American writer, editor, literary critic, and teacher best known for his influential book *On Writing Well*, which championed clarity, simplicity, and brevity in nonfiction. He began his career at the *New York Herald Tribune* and later taught writing at institutions including Yale, the New School, and Columbia.[1][4][8][10]
