William Warren Sterling

William Warren Sterling was a Texas Ranger who worked on ranches in Hidalgo County as a young man and later served as a captain of Texas Rangers Company D and adjutant general of the Texas Rangers. During 1915–1916, he was a posseman and scout for the Third United States Cavalry in Hidalgo and Cameron counties[1]. He is not primarily known as an author, and no literary works or genres are documented for him in available sources[1].
