William Warren

William Warren was an American author and long-time expat in Thailand, where he lived for over five decades starting in 1960, serving as a lecturer in English at Chulalongkorn University for 30 years. He produced more than 50 books and hundreds of articles on Thai culture, cuisine, history, islands, and profiles of notable figures, including works like 'Jim Thompson: The Unsolved Mystery' and 'The House on the Klong.' A friend to Jim Thompson, he was regarded as the dean of expat authors in Thailand until his death in 2017.
