William Perez

William Perez is a professor and chair in the Department of Educational Leadership in the School of Education at Loyola Marymount University. An immigrant from El Salvador and a scholar of immigration and education, his research focuses on academic success and higher education access for immigrant, undocumented, indigenous, and deported students in the U.S. and Mexico. He is widely recognized for his work on undocumented students and has authored books on the experiences of Latino and immigrant students in higher education.
