William Nester

William R. Nester, born in 1956, is an American professor of government and politics at St. John's University in New York, where he has taught since 1989, advancing from assistant to full professor.[1][2][3] He is a prolific author of over 37 books on history, politics, international relations, and American military figures, with notable awards including the Army Historical Foundation's best biography for *George Rogers Clark: 'I Glory in War'* in 2013 and the New York Military Affairs Symposium's Arthur Goodzeit Book Award for *Titan* in 2016.[1][4]
