William N. Thorndike

William N. Thorndike Jr. is an American businessman, investor, and author best known for his book 'The Outsiders: Eight Unconventional CEOs and Their Radically Rational Blueprint for Success,' published in 2012. He founded Housatonic Partners, a private equity firm in Boston, in 1994, where he serves as Managing Director, with prior experience at T. Rowe Price Associates and Walker & Company. A graduate of Harvard College and Stanford Graduate School of Business, he is involved in various directorships and trusteeships, including the College of the Atlantic.
