William Madsen

William C. Madsen, Ph.D., was the founder and director of the Family-Centered Services Project in Watertown, Massachusetts, dedicated to developing family-centered practices through training, consultation, and innovative programs in therapy and organizational change.[1][2] He authored key books including Collaborative Therapy with Multi-Stressed Families and co-authored Collaborative Helping: A Strengths Framework for Home-Based Services, focusing on strengths-based approaches for family support and child welfare.[1][2] Madsen provided international training on collaborative therapy until his death in 2023.[2][3]
