William Ma

William Ma is a Chinese art historian and Graduate Coordinator at Louisiana State University's College of Art & Design. He specializes in artistic exchanges between China and the world during late-imperial and modern periods, with research interests in material culture, workshop practices, Jesuit missionary art, and export art during the High Qing. He earned two BA degrees in integrative biology and history of art (2006) and a PhD in history of art (2016) from the University of California at Berkeley.
