William Kirby Lockard
William Kirby Lockard (1929-2007) was a nationally recognized architect, professor, author, and city planner who taught at the University of Arizona's College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture for over 40 years. He founded the Design Communication Association, authored numerous books and tutorials on architecture and design, and was influential in architectural education worldwide, with students traveling to Tucson to study drawing under his instruction.
