William J Bennett
William John Bennett is an American conservative politician, commentator, and author born in Brooklyn, New York. He served as U.S. Secretary of Education under President Ronald Reagan from 1985 to 1988, Director of the National Endowment for the Humanities from 1981 to 1985, and 'drug czar' under President George H.W. Bush from 1989 to 1990. Bennett is a prolific author of over 20 books on cultural, political, and educational topics, including New York Times bestsellers, and hosts the radio show Morning in America.[2][3][6]
