William H. Gross

William H. "Bill" Gross (born April 13, 1944) is an American investor, author, and retired fund manager best known as the co-founder of Pacific Investment Management Co. (PIMCO). He is widely recognized as the "Bond King" for his influence on fixed-income investing and later joined Janus Capital Group in 2014 before retiring from active fund management in 2019.
