William Grill

William Grill is a British illustrator and author based in Bristol, specializing in narrative non-fiction children's books inspired by the natural world and history. His debut book, Shackleton's Journey, won the 2015 Kate Greenaway Medal and has been translated into over 14 languages, while his second book, The Wolves of Currumpaw, received the 2016 Bologna Ragazzi prize for non-fiction. A Falmouth University graduate, he works primarily with colored pencils and printmaking, and enjoys teaching illustration.[1][2][4][5]
