William G. Herron
William G. Herron is an American author and psychologist born in 1933, known for his works in novels and psychology.[1] He served as a practicing psychotherapist and psychoanalyst since 1962, associate professor and chairman of the Psychology Department at St. Bonaventure University (1959-1965), professor at St. John's University in Jamaica, NY (1965-2000), and dean of training at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Contemporary Center for Advanced Psychoanalytic Studies (2000-).[1] His publications include the novel 'F. Quantmeyer Hose No. 7' (1972) and numerous books on psychotherapy, narcissism, and personality development, often co-authored with colleagues.[1]
