William Duerr

William A. Duerr was an American forestry economist and academic born in Maine in 1911. He earned degrees from Iowa State College, the University of Minnesota, and Harvard, and later taught and held leadership roles in forestry economics at institutions including the New York State College of Forestry and Virginia Tech. He died on December 25, 2002.
