William Alexander Deer

William Alexander (Alex) Deer was a British geologist, petrologist, and mineralogist known for his significant contributions to the study of rocks and minerals. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society and is recognized as one of the leading Earth scientists of the 20th century.
