William A. Joseph
William A. Joseph is a Professor Emeritus of Political Science at Wellesley College, specializing in Chinese politics, including the radicalism of Mao Zedong and the evolution of Chinese communist ideology from Mao to Xi Jinping.[3][4] He has authored books such as 'Politics in China' and 'Introduction to Politics of the Developing World,' and participated in the 1972 delegation of the Committee of Concerned Asian Scholars to China.[6][7] With over 50 years of research on Chinese politics, he is also a non-resident Associate of the John King Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University.[3][4]
