Will Durant
Will Durant (1885–1981) was an American historian, philosopher, and writer best known for The Story of Philosophy and the 11-volume The Story of Civilization, written with his wife, Ariel Durant. His work helped popularize philosophy and history for general readers, and he received both the Pulitzer Prize and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
