Wilhelm Max Wundt

Wilhelm Maximilian Wundt (1832–1920) was a German physiologist and philosopher who helped establish psychology as an independent experimental science. He founded the first formal laboratory for psychological research at the University of Leipzig in 1879 and is widely regarded as the father of modern or experimental psychology.
