Wiley Cash is a New York Times bestselling novelist from North Carolina, author of four novels including A Land More Kind Than Home (2012), This Dark Road to Mercy (2014), The Last Ballad (2017), and When Ghosts Come Home (2021).[1][7] His debut novel won multiple awards such as the Southern Book Prize, Thomas Wolfe Book Prize, and Crime Writers' Association's New Blood Dagger.[1][7] He teaches fiction writing and literature at the University of North Carolina-Asheville, where he serves as Executive Director of the Literary Arts.[7]
