Wendy Bishop
Wendy Bishop (1953–2003) was an American academic, poet, and scholar renowned for her contributions to rhetoric, composition, and creative writing studies. She served as the Kellogg Hunt Professor of English at Florida State University and authored influential books such as *Acts of Revision*, *Released into Language*, and *Keywords in Creative Writing*, which shaped pedagogy in these fields. Bishop earned her Ph.D. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1988 and blurred the boundaries between creative writing and composition throughout her career.
